Victoria Centre, Harrogate - Retail Units

The Victoria Centre, Harrogate is renowned as the hub of the town centre and following the successful inclusion of the Next store, Unite Construction have completed a number of upgrades and refits to the currently vacant units through the internal Mall.  

Works included the newly occupied Poundland Store, with landlord area reconfigurations and upgrades to areas of lighting and fire alarms. Construction progressed whilst the store was in occupation, close coordination and out of hours working enabled the uninterrupted trading throughout the works.  

A further 2 upgrades to vacant units on the West Entrance Mall followed. New Shopfronts in the Mall, along with full structural strip outs, new screed floors, drylined walls, M&E, and ceilings with floor and wall finishes included.  

Unite’s understanding of the retailer’s requirements, along with the cooperative relationship with the Victoria Centre management team were pivotal to the project success.
