Marshalls Mill, Leeds - Phase 1

Marshall’s Mill is one of the most distinctive office developments in Leeds. Located close to the station, the complex has previously been restored and maintains much of the historic fabric of the Mill, creating a distinctive blend of contemporary features in one of the city’s most significant heritage buildings.  

Unite were involved in the ongoing maintenance and improvements of both Marshalls Mill and Round Foundry.   Phase 1 of the works included major envelope treatments to 14 of the 21 buildings; roof works, rendering, decorations and repointing. External cobbled areas were re-jointed throughout and new Yorkshire stone paving’s installed to courtyard areas.   

Close communication with all tenants and building management, enabled specific phasing of the works around the occupying businesses with utmost attention to Public Protection, and dust and noise control.   Our flexibility in approaching the works lead to a successful completion without undue disruption to the occupying businesses.
